Do I have enough words to praise their food? Lemme try. This is the sort of place where everytime, after having dined, I have returned with a distinct gratification. The gratification of the sorts of home cooked meals but from a different culture. The spices and flavouring is closest to authentic, ambience humble and friendly, even if not most luxurious, staff cordial and options limited but who needs too much when you can't get enough of what's already offered. Oh and the pricing is decent. Not expensive at all. (I just wish they prepared Aush someday as they don't usually do that). Our favourites there are Chapli Kabob and Shorwa...also Maza Maza Dessert - brownies served with scoops of vanilla ice-cream liberally splurged with chocolate sauce and nuts. Do not forget to treat yourself next time you're in Sugarland in case you're looking for the most scrumptious authentic Afghani food served with a dash of simplicity.

If you've never been to Chopan Kabob house, you're missing out on a hidden gem. The service is always fast and friendly, and the food is excellent. The prices are spectacular for what you get. I've been coming here for 8 years and always had a good experience.

Food is incredibly delicious and authentic, made from scratch . Highly recommend trying the mint limona and bolani. Our family of 4 ordered different dishes, all sampling each others food. Not one dish disappointed! The staff is extremely nice and welcoming also. Definitely a hidden gem.

Excellent, authentic, FRESH Afghani food at a good price. It's home-cooked style, but next level up on flavor. Everything we ordered was delicious, and service was good. Stop by and don't hesitate to try anything. I had their Qaubili pulao, bolani, and chapli kabobs (all were excellent).

Been coming here for quite sometime and this place never disappoints. 1st choice Chapli kabab. Tikka and Charsi kabab next. Nans are also a must.
